Alice Boyce

Alice Faye Boyce, 57, of Somerville went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 1. Visitation will be Monday, December 5 from 5pm - 7pm at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville. Service will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday, December 6 at 10 am with interment following at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville.

Alice lived for her family. Her best times were spent with her husband, kids, siblings, and most of all, her grandkids. She loved bragging on her kids and grandkids. Anyone who knew her, knew how much she loved them. She enjoyed being outside; in the pool, at the lake, grilling, and surrounded by family and friends. Alice also enjoyed playing darts, singing karaoke, dancing, going out to dinner, having a few beers, going on family vacations, supporting kids and grandkid's extracurricular activities, and scratching lottery tickets. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she always made sure the family had a great Christmas. She also made the best mac and cheese! Alice was a hard worker and loved serving her customers. Being around people and doing for others gave her joy. Her passion for family and people was infectious. Her work ethic was like no other. She was a strong and determined woman. Alice was loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Joy Taylor, brother, Jerry Taylor and brother-in-law, Ken Gibson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Timothy Boyce, sons, Don Boyce and wife Melissa Mejas, Timothy Boyce and wife Gina, daughters, Rhonda Pineda and husband Rene, Pamela Gentry, sisters, Linda Lane and husband Lloyd, Darlene Gibson, grandchildren, Brooke, Brandon and Brett Gober, Jose Pineda, Jasmine, Victoria and Cameron Boyce, Clayton Brinkman, Makayla Gentry, Kaleb and Aria Boyce and nephew, Chris Gibson and wife Donna.

Pallbearers are Timothy Boyce II, Brent Pfeiffer, Don Boyce, Jim Dunn, Chris Gibson, Josh Brinkman, Brian Horsley and Lloyd Lane.

Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Gober, Brett Gober, Kaleb Boyce, Clayton Brinkman and Cameron Boyce.
