She was born in Chewelah, Washington on June 2, 1991. She was married to the love of her life Randy Mitchell on March 26, 2022. Alice was fiercely loyal, brave, determined, creative, and had a great sense of humor. She was a devoted friend, sister, daughter, and wife. Alice loved animals especially her two rescue dogs Dixie and Harley, she was an advocate for pet adoption. She loved all kinds of music, if she could, she would have her favorite songs playing no matter what she was doing. She loved to crochet and make baby blankets, toys, and special gifts for loved ones. These are now cherished possessions to those fortunate enough to have received them.
Alice valued relationships over things, she loved and lived a simple life and was most at home in nature. Some of the activities she enjoyed most were, Harry Potter books and movies, Marvel, musicals, traveling, nature walks, taking her dogs to the dog park, cooking, baking, painting nails, and playing games. She loved holidays, especially Christmas, and found joy in decorating for each occasion.
While Alice didn’t open up to many people, for those who were blessed to really know her she loved unconditionally, accepted without reservation, and was a trusted and irreplaceable confidant. Alice was a beautiful human inside and out and she will be deeply and intensely missed.
Alice was so very special in our lives, the magnitude of which is impossible to express in words. Other than our parents and grandparents, Alice is a pioneer in our immediate family, blazing a trail into the spirit world; she is being the first one to pass through the veil. She has been met with love and open arms by our ancestors on the other side. While for us her passing brings immeasurable anguish and sorrow, her reunion with our eternal family in the spirit world is now bringing her and them great joy and happiness in their reunification.
Alice is survived by her husband Randy Mitchell, her parents Richard and Malinda May, siblings Jesse May (Katie), Sally Van Orden (Garr), Sarah Anderson (Cory), Henry May (Amber), Thomas May, and Christopher May, her nieces, and nephews; Alyssa, Brianna, Caden, Diana, Evan, Felicity, Grant, Aayla, Jude, Macy, Jackson, Brady, and Greta. And her beloved dogs Dixie and Harley who brought her immense joy and comfort.
