Bernarda Escobedo

Bernarda Escobedo passed away on November 1, 2022. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2022, from 9:30am – 10am; Holy Rosary begins at 10:30am, and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Somerville, Texas.

Bernie, as she was called by all who knew her, was a longtime resident of Somerville, Texas. She worked for many years at IGA grocery store & then went on to work at St Anne's Catholic church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Escobedo, her parents, Perfecto & Emilia Hernandez, her siblings, Vicenta & Raul Parra, Adela Hernandez, Theresa & Ignacio Alazar, Jesse Hernandez, Perfecto & Benita Hernandez, Antonio & Anita Hernandez. She was also preceded in death by her aunt Domitila Hernandez.

Bernarda is survived by two nieces, two nephews, numerous cousins, and godchildren.
