Bonnie Faye Rathjen Campise. 80 of Lyons, TX., passed peacefully with her family by her side at her residence in Snook. A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Somerville, with Pastor Joel Lamb officiating. The burial will follow in Schoppe Cemetery in Lyons, TX., The family will receive guests from 6:00 to 9:00 Friday evening also Saturday morning from 9:00 till service time also at the funeral home.
Bonnie Faye was born May 5, 1943, in Burleson County, Texas to parents, Edward Joseph Rathjen and Velma Helen (Schubert) Rathjen.
Bonnie worked for many years for MHMR in Bryan and in College Station as a Medication Tech Aide.
Some of her interests were, word search puzzles, listening to KBTX news & weather, watching her favorite soap opera the Young & Restless and game show the Price is Right. She spent many hours scrolling through her phone and Facebook while also enjoying her iced cold Dr. Pepper with extra ice. She enjoyed shopping with her two sisters, especially going to her favorite store Dollar Tree. She loved spending time with family and sharing the word of God, she was very devoted to her Savior Jesus Christ.
Preceding her in death were her Parents, a son, a sister, 2 brothers, 2 nieces, 2 brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law
Bonnie Faye is survived by her loving family, a son, Jason Mensch and his wife Kimberly, 2 daughters Kathy Green and husband Russell, and Nancy Green and companion, Kevin Gage, 2 sisters, Alice Klaus and husband Timothy, and Doris Lewis, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
