Brenda Pargac

Brenda Pargac, 61, of Channelview went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 12, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14 from 6pm - 8pm, at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville. Services will be held Thursday, December 15, 10 am at the First Lutheran Church in Somerville, with interment following at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Brenda was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to dance and would tell anyone that would listen about the eighth grade dance contest she won. Her other hobbies included gardening, sewing, crocheting, quilting and spending time with the people she loved. She was a graduate of Somerville High School in 1974 and a lifetime member of the First Lutheran Church. Her absence will be greatly felt by the family and community she loved so much.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Sager.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Tom Pargac, mother, Gloria Sager, sons, Jon Parson and wife Melissa, Joey Pargac and wife Sarah, daughters, Kerri Canales and husband Michael, Christie Hazen and husband Jimmy, brothers, David Sager, Mark Sager and wife Susan, sister, Karen Torres and husband JL, grandchildren, Andy Canales, Corey Canales, Cameron Canales, Mary Ellen Parson, Tyler Hazen, Kannon Hazen, Rosalie Hazen, Jacey Pargac, Jovie Pargac, great-grandchildren, Faith Elizabeth Parson.

Pallbearers are Andy Canales, Corey Canales, Cameron Canales, Tyler Hazen, Benjamin Sager and Matt Sager, Jimmy Hazen and Michael Canales.

Honorary Pallbearer is Kannon Hazen.
