Brittany Polasek

Funeral services for Brittany Alice (Bezdek) Polasek, 31, of Humble, Texas are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Caldwell, with Rev. Joseph Polasek officiating. Interment will follow at New Tabor Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. before the service also at the funeral home. Mrs. Polasek passed away on September 11, 2017 in Humble, Texas.

Brittany was born June 23, 1986 to Ernest Bezdek, Jr. and Renee (Lyons) Bezdek in Houston, Texas. She married David M. Polasek, II on October 10, 2014 in Houston, Texas.

Brittany loved her family, she always had a smile on her face and she was the kindest, gentlest person you could meet. She loved kolaches, riding the motorcycle with David, old movies, planning social events and activities, and attending sporting events. Her work ethic was above reproach and she was extremely diligent in her career. She was very creative and loved making Halloween costumes for Makayla, and was always trying to improve on her cooking skills. She was “Minnie” to David’s “Mickey”. They were made for each other.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Evelyn Bezdek, and maternal grandmother Alice Mae Lyons.

Brittany is survived by her husband David Polasek, II; daughter, Makayla Polasek; parents Ernest & Renee Bezdek, Jr.; father and mother-in-law, David & Nancy Polasek; brother-in-law, Jeremy “Chewy” Vanderburg, all of Humble; sister, Kimberly Renee Bezdek of Houston; grandparents, Ernest Bezdek, Sr. of West, Carol Lyons of Welsh, LA, Annie Polasek of Caldwell, and Patsy Blaha; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.

Pallbearers will be William Garner, Sam Rains, Steven Polasek, Ken Prince, Robert Polasek, Jason Wood, James Faust; with Ryan Hudson acting as honorary pallbearer.
