Clifford Hyde, 67, of Houston went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2017.
A memorial service will be held for Clifford at The Washington County Fair Grounds on November 4 from 3pm – 8pm. Clifford’s family ask that you come and join them in remembering all the good times and share a meal with them.
Clifford, affectionately known as Cliff, was born on September 16, 1949 to Clayton Fred Hyde and Minnie Faye (Thompson) Hyde. Cliff worked as a superintendent for Christensen Construction Company in Houston and previously Brae-Burn. In his profession he became an outstanding mentor. His love of life and hard work was such an inspiration for those who Cliff taught! Cliff Hyde was a servant of everything right! He was an honorable human being who loved and meant so much too so many. Cliff was married to Penny and they had two beautiful fur babies, Bella and Lucy. They called Houston home but the “Hyde Out” in Somerville was their happy place where they made many friends and even more great memories. Cliff will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dallas D. Hyde and nephew, Cory D. Tucker.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Penny Hyde, step-daughter, Carley Saladino and husband Michael Saladino, Jr., brother, Clayton C. Hyde and wife Pam, sisters-in-law, Paula Lynn Hollaway, Vicky Keithly and husband Eddie, grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Issac, Luke, Dani Wilbanks, great-grandchild, Braxton, nieces, April Tucker and husband Robert, Christy Rains and husband Tommy, Tiffany Brackett and husband David, Lacey Hyde, Kelly Gore and family, Kristen Morgan and family, Lana Baker and husband Vincent, nephew, Cody Williams and wife Megan, great nephews, R.C., Tate, Tanner, Max, great niece, Nikki and special friends, Louis and Maria Lucio.
Memorials may be directed to Houston Flood Relief Fund.
Honorary pallbearers are Louis Lucio, Joe Woolley, Doug Petty and Michael Saladino, Jr.
