David Jimenez

David Jimenez, 73, of Somerville went to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Visitation is set for 6pm – 8pm on April 11, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Somerville, Texas. The rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. on April 12 at the Church. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.

David was a very thoughtful man who always put others needs first. He loved to watch Aggie football and the Dallas Cowboys. During the off season he spent time riding his zero turn, watching the Astros and playing with his animals Zoi and Molly. He worked with the Knights of Columbus in various fund raisers. David also loved to cook menudo and chili.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Soloman Jimenez and Adalia Torrez Jimenez; wife, Lucy Jimenez; brother, Juan Jimenez and sister, Patsy Huddleston.

He is survived by his son, David Jimenez; daughter, Judye Jimenez; brothers; Ray Jimenez and wife Janie; Soloman Jimenez and wife Enid, Alex Jimenez; sister, Esperanza Mras and husband Paul.

Pallbearers are Steven Mras, James Mras, Jason Jimenez, Joe Ochoa, Joe Vittonel and Chris Arrendondo.
