Don Follis

Don Follis, 79, of Somerville passed away on Wednesday, September 14. A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Don was an avid outdoors man who loved to go for walks around his property always being sure to carry a walking stick. When he wasn't out for walks he enjoyed spending time with family and friends telling stories and socializing. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Somerville for many years. Don was a faithful member of the Masonic Lodge for over fifty years. He belonged to Texas City Masonic Lodge # 1118 and Lee Scott Lodge #793. His absence will be greatly felt by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Follis and Iris Melcher Follis.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Carol Follis, sons, Russel Follis and wife Michelle, Scott Follis and wife, Stephanie, daughters, Donna Davis and husband Mike, DeeLee Cruse and husband Cecil, brother, Edmil Auld and wife, Dot, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Masonic Lodge or your charity of choice.
