Donald Blake Jr.

Donald Russell Blake Jr. {Rusty}, 63, of Somerville, Texas, lost his battle with upper respiratory disease on August 26, 2022.

Rusty was the oldest child of Donald and Myra Blake. He was born on April 23, 1959, and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended MacArthur Senior High School.

Following his career at Houston Intercontinental Airport, he retired to Somerville, Texas. Rusty had a big interest in Avid Aviation Simulation and mapping the stars thru his telescope.

He is preceded in death by his youngest brother, Timothy {Timmy} David Blake and Nephew Joseph Christopher Blake.

He is survived by his mother and father, Myra and Donald Blake, brother, William Blake; two sisters, Deborah Blake, and Naomi Diaz; her husband, Jesse Diaz; five nephews, Jesse Jr., Christopher, Alex, Albert & Stephan; two nieces, Kristine, and Maria; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He will be laid to rest during a private burial service, at Brookside Memorial Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
