Edward Fojt

Services for Edward “Ed” A. Fojt, 65, of Snook are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Independence. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 also at the funeral home. Mr. Fojt passed away at his home in Snook on January 22, 2018.

Ed was born June 7, 1952 to Eddie Fojt and Clara Adrienne (Hill) Fojt in Navasota, Texas.

Ed grew up in the Snook area and later raised his family there. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, fishing on the Brazos River and tending to his garden.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Brian & Heather Fojt of Corpus Christi, Michael & Megan Fojt of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Sara & Cody Bozarth of Houston; grandchildren, Tucker Fojt, Travis Fojt, Carter Fojt, Cooper Fojt, Audrey Fojt; former spouse and close friend Rhonda Fojt.

Pallbearers will be Arnold Grunwald, Jack Baumann, Jackie Baumann, Ray Janner, Shea Janner, and Bennie Ray Sebesta. Honorary pallbearers will be Rusty Janner and David Elsik.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice Brazos Valley.
