Elizabeth Morefield

Elizabeth Lynn (Faust) Morefield, 68 of Somerville passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in Bryan, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held, Monday, July 25, 2022 Celebrating her Life at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville @ 10:00 am with Pastor Vickie Simons officiating @ the Pavilion burial will follow in the cemetery. The family will receive guests, Sunday evening at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Somerville from 5:00 to 7:00p.m..

Elizabeth was born December 27, 1953 in Brenham, TX., to parents Ed Louis Faust and Nancy Irene ( Murski) Faust. She married the love of her life Fred Morefield August 10, 1979 in Somerville, Texas.

She worked at Texas A. & M. University in the Health Science Center for nearly 16 years and was loyal and honest and very hard working.

Some of her favorite hobbies were crocheting, and quilting. When she and Fred were younger they loved going dancing, as a matter of fact that is how they first met was on the dance floor. Elizabeth had a tremendous work ethic. She was known to have a wonderful sense of humor.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Edward Faust and a sister-in-law, Linda Faust.

She is survived by her loving family, husband of 43 years Fred Morefield of Somerville, TX., a daughter, Donna Morefield of Bryan, TX., a stepson, Michael Morefield and wife Leigh-Ann of McDonough GA., two grandsons, Peyton and Brody Morefield also of McDonough, GA., three brothers, Ronnie Faust and wife Norma, Donnie Faust all of Somerville, and David Faust of Ft. Worth, TX., a brother-in-law, Richard Morefield and wife Donna of Erwin, TN., and a sister, Nancy-Lee Goates and husband Rusty of Shelbyville, TX., also surviving are a niece, Cindy Morefield and a nephew, Alan Morefield.

Serving as pallbearers are, Donnie Faust, Ronnie Faust, David Faust, Braxton Faust, Brayden Faust and Robert Faust.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by all who loved her and knew her.
