Enrique Perez

Enrique Perez, 66, of Somerville passed away on Tuesday, August 21.

Visitation will be 3pm – 8pm, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Strickland Funeral Home. The Holy rosary will be recited at 7pm. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, August 24, 11am at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Somerville. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.

Enrique Perez was a family man who devoted his life to his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed listening to music, working on cars and cutting grass. Enrique was very out going and never met a stranger. He also loved playing guitar, the accordion and singing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Graciano Perez and Maria Isabel Martinez; brother, Alfonso Perez; brother-in-law, Mario Barrerra.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Perez; son, Ricky Perez and wife Monica; daughter Renee Brown and husband Matthew; brother, Antonio Perez; sisters, Natalia Rodriguez and husband Rodolfo, Angela Bennett, Delta Barrerra; grandchildren, Blair Youngblood, Andrew and Aiden Brown; sister-in-laws, Gloria Villarreal and husband Thomas, Rosie Guerra and husband Servando; brother-in-law, Frank Vega along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Robert Villarreal, Rodolfo Pablo Rodriguez Perez, Frank Vega, Victor Orozco, Felix Flores and Rodolfo Rodriguez.
