Ester Rodriguez

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ester Revilla Rodriguez, 69, of Caldwell is set for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Caldwell, Texas. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, September 11 form 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Rodriguez passed away September 7, 2020 in Austin, Texas.

Ester was born June 2, 1951 to Fernando Revilla and Juana Gil in Milano, Texas. She married Noe Rodriguez on October 8, 2005 in Caldwell, Texas.

Ester enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles, bingo, fishing, casinos and cooking everything. Tamales and Menudo were some of her regular dishes. She loved being around her family, grandkids and friends. She was the glue that held the family together. She had a beautiful heart and spirit and her smile was contagious.

Ester was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mike, Frank and Tony Revilla; brothers-in-law, Aniceto Saucedo, George Orozco, Jose Matilde Hernandez; and two sisters-in-law, Lupe Revilla and Bertha Revilla.

She is survived by her husband, Noe Rodriguez of Copperas Cove; sons, Joe Puente and wife Stephanie of Bryan, Texas, Freddy Revilla and wife Amanda of Dover, Delaware; step-daughters, Julie Rosas, Alicia Marie Rodriguez, both of Giddings; brothers, Gilbert Revilla and wife Mary of Caldwell, Joe Revilla of Caldwell; sisters, Lucia Orozco of Somerville, Trina Hernandez of Homestead, Florida, Anita Saucedo of El Paso, Christina Sanchez and husband Rito of Caldwell; grandchildren, Mariah Aguilar, Elissa Aguilar, Jadyn Aguilar, Gavin Aguilar, Joey Puente, Jude Revilla, Verity Revilla, Persia Rodriguez, Martin Rosas, Catalina Rosas, Rebecca and Michael Lopez; and great grandchild, Kinsey Narro.
