Harvey Stall

Funeral service for Harvey Lee Stall of Snook, are set for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell with Pastor Rudy Junek officiating. Interment will follow at Snook Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016 also at the funeral home. Mr. Stall died June 20, 2016 in Caldwell, Texas.

Harvey was born December 3, 1935 to Willie Henry Stall and Meta Gertrude Rummel Stall in Splawn, Texas. He married Betty Philp on November 5, 1964 in Ben Arnold, Texas.

Harvey was a devout member of the Hope Evangelical Free Church. Harvey preferred to be busy, whether working with his hands, fishing, camping, listening to his favorite music by the Vrazel Polka Band, or just being around people. During his time at St. Joseph Manor he was very active with gardening and all of the wonderful activities that they offer.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Betty. He is survived by sister, Jean Hood of Somerville; nieces and nephews, Dereck & Beverly Borders, Daren & Cindy McClellan, Darlene Macik, Tammy & Greg Alexander, Kirk & Sharyle Macik; brothers-in-law, Arthur & Lavelle Philp of Bryan, Rick & Doris Williams of Canada, sister-in-law Shirley Philp; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Leon Rummel, Kirk Macik, Dereck Borders, Daren McClellan, Greg Alexander, Jonah McClellan, KJ Macik and Brayden Macik.
