Irene Galler

Irene was born December 18, 1925 to John Chudej and Lillie (Juris) Chudej in the Buckholts community area. She married Reinhold Galler on March 21, 1946 in Temple, Texas. Irene enjoyed polka dancing and keeping her hands busy with puzzles, crocheting, quilting, gardening, and cooking, especially kolaches, cookies, and pies.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Evelyn Fikes and Lorene Dudik.

She is survived by husband of 70 years Reinhold Galler; son and daughter-in-law, Rod & Terry Galler of San Antonio; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda & Roy Engelmann of Caldwell; brothers, Johnnie Chudej of Pettibon, Raymond Chudej of Little River Academy; grandchildren, Christopher & Brianna Galler, Jason & Missy Engelmann, Tanya & Joel Fitzgerald; great grandchildren Bryan Galler, Chase Galler, Trinity Fitzgerald, Raegan Fitzgerald, and Taylor Houghton.
