Our beloved and precious little angel James Henry Roskey came into this world on March 13, 2024, in Houston, Texas, much to the delight of his loving and adoring parents Stephanie and Andrew, and scores of family and friends.
On the day he was born, James amazed us by raising his beautiful head. During his brief time on earth, he delighted everyone he met with his sweet, adorable smile, his gorgeous bright blue eyes, and his unforgettable delightful laughter. “Sweet Jeb”, as he was affectionately called, truly enchanted many people on his numerous trips to visit family and friends in Austin and Houston, attending birthday parties, gatherings, and a wonderful time at Galveston beach. James loved to hear his daddy whistle and his mommy sing to him. He was fascinated with balloons and enjoyed playing with his favorite toy “Mr. Moo” while rocking in his swing.
James returned to Heaven on July 29, 2024, to be with his Divine Creator. He was preceded in the next life by his great uncle Steve Sikora, his great aunt Carolyn Gerken, his great grandfathers Robert Janda, James Alton Roskey, Charles Sikora, and Hernan Traconis, and his great grandmothers Lora Jean Janda, Dois Roskey, and Alicia Escudero.
James leaves behind to cherish his beautiful memory his loving parents Stephanie and Andrew Roskey, his adoring grandparents Marvin and Marilyn Roskey and Jorge and Diane Traconis, his great grandmother Marilyn Sikora, his aunts Dianna Roskey, Maria Cabrera, Sarah Traconis, and Kymberlyn Gerken, and his uncles Justin Roskey, Reece Roskey, Anthony Traconis, Alberto Cabrera, and Trey Gerken. He also leaves behind his very loving cousins Charlie, Riggs, Leona, and Laney Roskey, Victoria and Andres Cabrera, and Charles, Emmett, and Logan Traconis. He is also survived by countless more family and friends.
Our beloved baby James left us an unforgettable legacy of pure, divine love and indescribable joy. God’s light and love shone brightly through this precious angel to remind us of His everlasting love and how short our time on earth is. The tremendous outpouring of heartfelt prayers, love, and support from countless compassionate people from all over has been nothing short of astounding. We will forever cherish our sweet Jeb’s beautiful memory as he lives forever in our hearts.
P.S. After four solid days of rain in Houston, the day James entered Heaven was bright, warm, and sunny with a spectacular sunset followed by a clear night sky filled with shining
