John E. was extremely proud of Davidson Creek Park. He donated 70 acres of land to the city to enlarge the park and it brought him immense pleasure to see the park being used by so many citizens, especially the young people. He loved driving through the park and seeing all the smiling faces and the many different ways the park was being used.
