Jose Anzualda

October 15, 1950 — July 27, 2020

Jose was born October 15, 1950 to Jose Anzualda, Sr. and Claudina (Singletary) Anzualda in Robstown, Texas. He married Gloria Banda on December 3, 1969.

He enjoyed being around horses, spending time with his grand kids, making sausage and BBQ, cowboy movies such as Lonesome Dove, and television evangelists. Jose was a simple country man.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Manuel Anzualda; and daughter-in-law, Juanita Anzualda.

Jose is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gloria Anzualda of Snook; sons and daughters-in-law, Fernando & Felicita Anzualda of Bryan, James Anzualda of Bryan, Joe & Nicole Anzualda, III of Snook; Israel & Yvette Anzualda of Bryan; daughters and sons-in-law, Irma & Roy Orta of Houston, Raquel & David Ortegon of Corpus Christi, Esmeralda & Efrain Alvarez of Brenham, Jessica & Jorge Lara of Bryan, Wynonna Anzualda of Snook; four brothers; three sisters; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Roy Orta, James Anzualda, Joe Anzualda, Jorge Lara, Israel Anzualda and Fernando Anzualda.
