Kristen Beard

Kristen Beard, 22, of Tyler went to her heavenly home on Monday, June 13, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 12pm-2pm at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville, with service to follow. Private burial will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery at a later date.

Kristen was a beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. She was very social and loved entertaining family and friends. She could light up any room just by entering. Kristen was very giving and would help anyone in need. Sometimes all she had to do was give you her infectious laugh to make your day better. She was a powerlifter and received many awards. Kristen will be dearly missed by all who knew her, because to know her was to love her.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Pauline Harcrow.

She is survived by her mother, Vonda Lynn Edge, father, David Lewis Beard, brother, Logan Beard, sister, Lauren Ann Dawson, brother-in-law, Christopher, grandparents, James and Bobbie Edge, step-grandmother, Robbie Finley and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
