Larry Thomas Pruett Sr.

Larry Thomas Pruett Sr., a beloved husband, father, brother, and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully in Caldwell, Texas, on April 2, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on August 20, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Larry devoted his life to family, service, and the joy of outdoor adventures.

Larry's legacy is enriched by 52 years of dedicated involvement in the Masonic Lodge, beginning with the Galena Park Lodge #1290 in 1974. His commitment grew, and he served as the Master of the Warren Lodge #56 in both 2003 and 2016. As an instructor for the lodge with an A certificate, he shared his knowledge and wisdom generously, impacting the lives of many within the Masonic community.

A man of great passions, Larry found joy in fishing and boating, often spending his leisure time on the water, creating lasting memories with family and friends. His love for nature and adventure was infectious, inspiring those around him to appreciate the beauty of the outdoors.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Louise Randorff Pruett, and his two sons, Larry Pruett Jr. and his wife Rosa and Michael Pruett, as well as his daughter Kay Kral and husband Al, and his sister Jeanine Harrington and husband Sam.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Hosea and Mary Pruett. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor on April 10, 2025, at First Baptist Church Caldwell, located at 300 S Thomas St, Caldwell, TX 77836, starting at 10:00 AM. Masonic Burial Rights will follow.

Larry Thomas Pruett Sr. will be dearly missed. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
