Laura Wernecke

November 19, 1923 — February 23, 2017

Laura Wernecke, 93, of Somerville went to her heavenly home on February 23, 2017. A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville on Saturday, February 25 at 2 p.m.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Emil Lehmann, Emma Lehman, husband, Rudolph Wernecke, daughter-in-law, Linda (Blum) Wernecke and grandson, Daryl Wernecke.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Kenneth Wernecke and wife Linda, James Wernecke, sister, Erna Mersiovsky, brother, Alvin Lehmann, grandchildren, Kris Wernecke, Wendy Wernecke, Meghan Wernecke along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kris Wernecke, Doug Fontaine, Ryan Wernecke, Mitchell Wernecke and Jeffrey Schroeder.
