Lavelle Heine

Funeral services for Lavelle “Bobbie” T. Heine, 84, of Caldwell are set for 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2017 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Frenstat. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2017 also at the funeral home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Heine passed away September 22, 2017 in Caldwell, Texas.

Lavelle was born February 14, 1933 to Adolph William Korth and Madgalen “Maggie” (Popek) Korth in Burleson County, Texas. She was baptized on February 16, 1933 and was confirmed on October 30, 1945. She married Leroy Heine on May 10, 1952. After Leroy’s death, Bobby found a new life partner in J.C. Witte(deceased).

Lavelle was better known by friends and family as “Bobbie”. She loved her fur babies, especially her dogs; Peanut, Fancy, and JR. She loved floral work and selling Avon perfume in her younger years. JC and Bobbie loved to take road trips with their fur babies sitting next to them. On Saturdays they would drive to Deanville and pick up BBQ, then stop by Keith and Sherrys’ and share BBQ and kolaches with them. Keith and Sherry always loved their visits and knew them by their signature honk. They would always send them home with lemons, pears, and tomatoes. As Bobbie got older and unable to travel, word search and magazines became her past time. She enjoyed Keith and Sherry’s grandchildren, Madison and Trevor, who would visit her every few weeks and brought such joy to her. Bobbie will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Adolph and Madgalen Korth; first husband, Leroy Heine; ending life partner, J. C. Witte; sisters, Florence Fields and Gloria Thomas Flora.

Bobbie is survived by J.C.’s daughter Sherry “Blondie” & her husband Keith Crim. God put these two together, for Sherry was the daughter that Bobbie always wanted and this relationship was a blessing to both. Also survived by J.C.’s children Shelly & Howard Chapman and Peggy Witte along with several nieces.
