Loyed Sutton

February 5, 1941 — August 31, 2017

Loyed Ervin Sutton was born on February 5, 1941 with a heart of gold and a one of a kind contagious laugh to Otis and Altie (Skelton) Sutton. He was our Daddy, Grandpa, Uncle and Friend. Loyed received his Golden wings on August 31, 2017. He fought life's battle with pride and dignity. Loyed's relationship with God was a blessing to all that knew him, he loved to have conversations with anyone that would listen about Our Lord and Savior. He was a family man, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his life. Loyed was a simple man, problem solver, educator and philosopher. He will be missed by all that knew and cared for him. His family is at peace knowing that our patriarch is now home with God and playing a mighty mean game of dominos in Heaven. Loyed's memory will live on through his legacy he left here on earth, his sayings of " It's gonna be alright" and "Praise the Lord, Thank you Jesus" will be forever kept alive through his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Jonathon R. Sutton; sisters-Lizzie, Mae, Daisy, and Angie; brothers - Louis, Dennis, Lonnie, Johnnie and James.
He is survived by his son Tony Sutton and wife Debbie of Hutto, Texas; his daughters- Lisa Nelson of Ingram, Tx; Sherrie Koch and husband Larry of Somerville, Tx; Melinda Sutton of Oklahoma City, OK; Carolyn Spittler and husband Nelton of Ingram, Tx; Misti Sutton and fiance Shannon Williams of Anderson, Tx.; Lona Sutton Hightower of Ingram. Grandchildren- Tony Sutton, Jr; Elise Sutton; Madison Nelson; Kelly Nelson; Anthony Harwell, Dustin Harwell, Ginger Buckley and Husband William; Nathan Spittler, Jacob Tieman and wife Laura; Alexander Nitsche, Morgan Nitsche, William Spittler, Nicholas Spittler, Malikye Hightower-Douglas; Elye Hightower-Kelly; Zayne Hightower-Kelly.
Great Grandchildren- Bailey Harwell; Damian Buckley, and Jarrod Tieman
He is also survived his sister Myrtle; sister-in-law's Nancy, Louise, Margie and Ruth.
Loyed's family would like to thank the staff of Brazos Valley Hospice for their care of not only Loyed but of our family as well.
