Mary Bolt

Services for Mary Ann Bolt, 86, of Caldwell are set for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Caldwell, with Pastor Harvey Wampler officiating. Interment will follow at Chriesman Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 24th also at the funeral home. Mrs. Bolt passed away May 19, 2019 in Caldwell, Texas.

Mary Ann was born August 27, 1932 to J.T. Boatright and Emma Rose (Clawson) Boatright in Austin, Texas.

Mary Ann was a devout Christian and spent many years teaching Sunday School. She was very strong in her beliefs of the Lord and was a fierce Prayer Warrior. Mary Ann was a selfless wife, mother, grand-mother, and great grandmother. She loved people, especially her sisters and brothers. She was known for her hospitality and would welcome anyone into her home. She enjoyed down home cooking and was a wonderful cook. She loved to spend time outdoors, being around cattle and burning brush. Mary Ann was a country girl at heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Bolt; two brothers; and three sisters.

Mary Ann is survived by her son, Dale and wife Karen Bolt of Caldwell; daughter, Sharon and husband Ernest Goebel of Houston; six grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Heath Bolt, Trent Goebel, Clint Goebel, Nathan Turner, Roger Schaffer, Greg Boatright, and Trent Boatright. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Henderson and Michael Goble.
