Mary Perez

Maria Perez, 84, of Somerville returned to the Lord on Wednesday, December 13.

A rosary will be prayed Friday, December 15, 7pm at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Visitation will begin on Saturday, December 16 at 10am at the church with services following at 11am.

Mary was a doting mother of 5, loving wife, and had a beautiful heart and soul that rivaled no other.

A strong woman of faith, Mary was a kind and caring person. She was always giving of herself, both to her faith and to others. She had a magnetic presence that drew everyone to her. Not to mention, a great sense of humor!

She was a small, wisp of a woman but her big personality and fun-loving spirit filled a room. Everyone was always welcomed with open arms, a loving heart, and a full plate!

Mary gave herself to others above all. She made every day beautiful for the loved ones in her life. She was adored by her family, cherished by her friends, and will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Angelina Rodriguez, brothers Bicente (Chente) Rodriguez, Gilberto (Beto) Rodriguez, Johnny C. Rodriguez, loving son and daughter Robert Lee Perez and Diane Berg, and grandson Chris Berg.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Juan (Johnny) Perez, her children Johnny Perez, Jr. (Molly), Dora Ann Parrino (Kelly), Roland Perez (Tina), grandchildren Gary Perez, Amber Wade, Meghann Gutierrez, Sam Parrino, Jason Perez, James Perez, Brandon Perez, Zachary Perez, Kaylee Perez, John Patrick Perez, Rachel Perez, Alexis Greenhalgh, step grandchildren Missy Brickner and Teren Dupuis, numerous nieces and nephews, and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Zachary Perez, John Patrick Perez, Gary Perez, Brandon Perez, Jason Perez and Sam Parrino.
