Nancy Faust

Nancy affectionately known as “Maw Kettle” was born to Charles and Loda Murski on December 15, 1935.  She met the love of her life Ed Faust and became his wife on February 14, 1953. She had numerous jobs around including working for the Chamber of Commerce.  Nancy was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Lyons.  She was a hard-working mother and when her last child left the nest, she enjoyed going out dancing with her husband.  Nancy learned how to play the piano and paint nature pictures and also enjoyed doing crafts.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles James Murski and Loda Irene (Archer) Murski; step-father, Hollie Monk; husband, Ed L. Faust; sister, Janie Mae Wilson and daughter-in-law Linda Faust.

She leaves behind her daughters, Elizabeth Moorefield and husband Fred, Nancy Lee Goates and husband Rusty; sons, Ronnie Faust and wife Norma, Donnie Faust, David Faust, Edward Faust and wife Tonya; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews and special friend Jackie Wilson.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

A private family viewing will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville from 9am until noon.  A private family burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
