Ollie Roberts

Funeral services for Ollie Frank Roberts, 92, of Deanville are set for 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Deanville with Pastor Terry Moon officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Mr. Roberts passed away on January 8, 2018 in Caldwell, Texas.

Frank was born October 20, 1925 to Ollie R. Roberts and Ethel (Davison) Roberts in Cypress, Texas. Frank served his country in the United States Marines from June of 1944 through March of 1946. He married Mary Elizabeth Moore on November 23, 1946. Frank retired from Burleson County Precinct 1 in 1981.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Elizabeth; sister, Virginia; and brother, Johnny.

Survivors include: special family, James Walter & Debby Schumacher of Deanville, Bobby Lee & Bonnie Schumacher of Deanville, Jeanette & Jim Peed of Deanville; sister, Evie Lemm of Willis; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
