Paulette Coleman

Paulette (Albritton) Coleman, 71, of Somerville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. A memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2 pm at Community Chapel in Somerville, Texas.

Paulette was born on August 12, 1945 in Corsicana, Texas to Hugh Bryant Albritton and Pauline (Bryant) Albritton.

Paulette, affectionately known as “Archie’s Sunshine”, married the love of her life, Archie Coleman, on September 4, 1960. They spent 56 years in wedded bliss, a true fairy tale.

Paulette earned an associate’s degree in prophetic ministry from Christian International Ministry. She also attended nursing school. Paulette was the Pastor for Fellowship of the Word Church and a member of Community Chapel. She volunteered her time to the SAAM Ministry and C.C. Academy. She touched many lives and will be missed dearly.

Her family would like to remind her loved ones and friends “We will see her again in Heaven. This is not forever, it is just for now!”

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Pauline Albritton; brother, Hugh Bryant Albritton, Jr.; sister-n-law, Malika Albritton and great-grandson, Eli Crabb.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Archie Coleman; son, Andrew Coleman and wife Tina; daughters, Pamelyn Post and husband Cody, Pollyanna Corely and husband Mike, Penelope April Crabb and husband Craig; grandchildren, Cody Blake Watson, Tiffany Pauline Dowden, Evany Post, Celeste Post, Vincent Hilliard, Paul Gill; great-grandchildren, Liam Watson, Wesley Watson, Alexis Watson, Damien Hilliard, Zoey Hilliard, Austin “Bear” Dowden, McKenna Paulette Rose Dowden; cousin, Willie Beth Hardin along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Strickland Funeral Home.
