On Sunday, November 1, 2020, with her family by her side, Pauline Sifuentes, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother was received into the arms of the Lord. Born in Somerville, Texas, Pauline was Margarito and Lucinda Orozco’s eldest daughter. She had 9 siblings, all whom she dearly loved. In her young adult life, Pauline became a Houstonian and opened the door for other family members to follow her footsteps toward independence and finding their own path in life. While in Houston, she met the love of her life and husband, Richard Sifuentes. Pauline and Richard continued to live in Houston, where they raised their 2 children, Cresenta and Frank. They lovingly instilled their values founded on deep faith and love of family. Pauline was very supportive of her children’s higher education goals and ensured those endeavors by working part-time in the neighborhood school. As their children transitioned into independence and married, both Pauline and Richard warmly welcomed into their family and greatly loved their son-in-law, Kris and daughter-in-law, Erin. After retiring, they chose to settle in Pauline’s hometown of Somerville, Texas. During this time, they were able to enjoy being with family and spending special time with their beautiful Grandchildren, all whom continue to reflect Pauline and Richard’s enduring faith and values.
