Graveside services for Peggye Jo Golden, 88, of Caldwell are set for 9:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 at Bryan City Cemetery in Bryan, Texas. Mrs. Golden passed away on August 28, 2018 in Brenham, Texas.

Peggye was born March 2, 1930 to Champ Weaver and Mary (Tidwell) Weaver.

Peggye was an amazing cook, she enjoyed arts and crafts and drinking her daily coffee. She was a loving mother and grandmother and the joy of her life was taking care of her family. She loved getting the family together for holidays as well as all the usual family get togethers throughout the years. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years+, Bobby Golden, Sr.; sister, Jan Weaver; brother, Lynn Dale Wright, Jr.; daughter, Sherry Golden; and son Bobby Golden.

Peggye is survived by her son, Benny Golden of Kermit, Texas; grandchildren, Heather & Ryan Becka of Caldwell, Lesley & Steven Karonka of Bryan; great grandchildren, Tristin Everett, Hayden Becka, Hannah Everett, Hallie Everett, and Ryder Becka.
