Robert Martin

Robert Martin, 73, of Caldwell passed away peacefully, January 19, with family by his side.

Visitation for Buck will start Monday, January 22, 5 pm - 8 pm at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville. Services will be at Old Bethlehem Church in Tunis on Tuesday, January 23 at 11am.

Buck was a wonderful man who enjoyed people. He never met a stranger, only a new friend. Some of his greatest hobbies were watching Monday night wrestling and deer hunting. He also used to build and race cars. Buck was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Roosevelt Martin and Sarah Jane (Davis) Martin; brothers, Horace Martin, Albert Martin, Roger Martin, Leonard Martin, Edward Martin; sisters, Martha Martin and Baby Sister.

He leaves behind his son, John Tucker; daughter, Monica Tucker; brothers, Ernest Martin and wife Lillie Mae, Malcolm Martin; sisters, Lucille Van Winkle and husband Robert, Sarah Brunker; grandchildren, Ty’Niah Taylor, Johntavian Tucker, Ja’Terrious Tucker; sister-in-laws, Geneva Martin, Nancy Martin, Donnis Scott Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Bobby Van Winkle, David Martin, Scott Martin, Keston Davis, Willie Everline, Jr. and Brayon Pool
