A Memorial Service for Robert Franklin McCarty, 82, of Caldwell is set for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Mr. McCarty passed away July 25, 2019 in Louisiana.

Robert was born March 23, 1937 to Marvin Roscoe McCarty and Flora Ella (Fuller) McCarty in Tucson Arizona. He married Debbra Lou Reid on March 25, 1982. Robert was a Caldwell resident for 37 years.

Robert is survived by his wife, Debbie McCarty of Caldwell; son and daughter-in-law, Gabe & Sabrina McCarty of Austin; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie & Richard Gomez of Bryan; sister-in-law, Lori Reid of Houston; grandchildren, Bethanie McCarty, Austen Roberts, Chelsea Roberts, Carli Roberts, Bryan Roberts; and great grandchild, Jayden Roberts.

Remembrances are gratefully accepted at the American Liver Foundation.
