Robert Myers

October 12, 1960 — February 23, 2023

Caldwell, TX

Robert (Robbie) Smith Myers entered eternal life on Thursday, February 23, 2023.  Robbie was born at an Air Force Base in Casa Blanca Morocco, North Africa to Smith and Betty Myers on October 12, 1960.

He grew up in the Houston area where he worked in sales for many years, forging new friendships at every turn in his life. Robbie’s most treasured job was being the Environmental Officer of Burleson County after working with the Burleson County Road and Bridge Department in Prescient 2 for many years.

Robbie never met a stranger in his life and once you met him, you were touched by someone you will never forget. Robbie knew how to have fun and he had a way of turning the ugliest days into the brightest memories you’ll ever have. Some of his passions throughout life were bowling (where he met the love of his life), rodeos (roping, bull riding, anything with bulls and horses), NHRA racing, especially John Force Racing, hunting and golf. Lately, since his recent illness, his “therapy” was sitting at 60 acres watching deer and cows early in the morning. His wife, Tina, said he was her best dance partner in life as well as on the dance floor.  Robbie could always put a smile on her face and leaves a huge hole in her heart.  He loved his wife with everything he had, and his grandchildren were his golden prize in life.

Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Smith (Smitty) and Betty Myers, grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, and infant brother.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of almost 12 years, Tina Myers; daughter, Stephanie Moore and husband Matthew of College Station, TX; son, Jason Willis and wife Cassie of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Gavin, Hadley, Koen and Audree Willis and Westin and Brooklynn Moore; a sister and brother-in-law of Bryan, TX; and a niece and nephew. In addition, he leaves behind his best friends and hunting buddies of more than 30 years, Steve and Marie Hyde and last but not least, all of his Burleson County family which consists of way too many to name.
