Sally Teixeira

A Celebration of Life for Sally Ruth (Antes) Teixeira, 57, of Caldwell is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Elizabeth Lutheran Church in Caldwell, with Rev. Richard Brunk officiating. Mrs. Teixeira passed away on August 22, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas.

Sally was born December 29, 1959 to Robert Antes and Nancy (Steinert) Antes in Houston, Texas. She married Mike Teixeira on July 20, 1990 in Florida.

Sally was a teacher for 30+ years. She taught in Cameron, Gause and Caldwell School Districts. She loved to teach and introduce the kids to new things and influenced thousands of children’s lives during these years. Sally also loved spending family time doing activities, going on cruises and her mother-daughter bond with Valerie. Sally was a very compassionate person and made everyone feel as though they were important.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Teixeira; son Austin Teixeira; and daughter, Valerie Teixeira, all of Caldwell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Travis Antes & Julie Widman of Los Angeles, California, and Kyle & Lisa Antes of Dallas, Texas.
