Scarlette Taylor

November 2, 1941 — June 1, 2024

Scarlette dedicated an impressive 37 years of her life to molding young minds as a teacher, leaving an indelible mark on generations of students. Her career was not merely a profession but a calling, driven by her genuine care and compassion for those under her guidance.

Known for her loving and nurturing spirit, Scarlette touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, always ready to lend an ear or a hand to those in need. She exemplified true essence of empathy and understanding in everything she did.

Scarlette's passion for sharing the message of Jesus was evident to all who crossed her path. She radiated warmth and love, spreading positivity wherever she went. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light that inspired many and brought comfort to those around her.

Born on November 2, 1941, in Baytown, Texas, Scarlette embraced life with open arms until she peacefully passed away on June 1, 2024, in Dripping Springs, Texas. Her legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created.

Among those who have now bid farewell before Scarlette are her beloved husband Richard Taylor and son Hoy Taylor. Although our hearts may be heavy with grief, we find solace in knowing that Scarlette's love will forever surround us.

On the journey ahead without Scarlette physically by our side, she leaves behind her surviving family: son Tony and his wife Tracie; son John and his wife Sandra Taylor; sister Judy Rogers and husband Del; as well as grandchildren Hallie, Mason, Avery, and Plexie. Her presence may no longer grace this earth, but the love she bestowed upon each of them will endure eternally.

One of Scarlette's proudest accomplishments was her marriage to Richard on March 5, 1965—a union built on love and shared values that stood the test of time.

Scarlette Taylor will be dearly missed but fondly remembered as a beacon of love and hope in a world that she graced with her presence. Although their hearts may be heavy with grief, they find solace in knowing that Scarlette's love will forever surround them.

May we carry forward her legacy of compassion, faith, and love in our own lives as a tribute to a woman whose light will never dim.
