Sharon Harper

March 8, 1954 — October 25, 2024

Sharon was born in Crane Texas to Fred and Juanita Siegenthaler on March 8,1954. She is remembered as an amazingly kind woman who had a heart of gold the size of Texas. She loved fishing, crafting, researching genealogy, watching her programs, playing games, most of all she loved her family and friends and cherished every second she spent with them. Her biggest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, she has always been very proud of them. She was very loyal and was always involved in helping better her community and country. Sharon worked for Upton County Texas for thirty years and while employed with the county she was a jailor, dispatcher, tax clerk. She retired from the county in January of 2021 after service 10 years as the elected County Treasurer.

Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her children Kim and Gary Baasen of Caldwell Texas, Jon and Heather Webb of Woodson Texas, and Jackie Harper Jr. of Oklahoma City OK, grandchildren Matthew Bassen, Addie Webb, and Ian Webb. Siblings left to cherish her memory are Arretta Gandy of Ozona Texas and Janette Siegenthaler of Smiley Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
