A family gathering for Shawn Wayne Cass, 34, of Bryan is being held Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Mr. Cass passed away September 1, 2020 in College Station.

Shawn was born May 7, 1986 to Benny Cass, Jr. and Donna Fritz in Rockdale, Texas.

Shawn enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and spending time with friends and his beautiful girls, and the love of his life Jessica. His girls were his heart.

Shawn was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents Harry & Louise Fritz and Paternal grandparents, Tommy & Carolyn Hobb.

He is survived by mother Donna Emola and step-dad Paul of Bryan, father, Benny Cass, Jr and step-mother, Debra of Caldwell; daughters, Ashlyn Rae, Tristyn Rose Cass, Maci Rae Cass; brothers, Ethan Cass and wife Deidra of Bryan, Gatlin Guess of Caldwell, Trace Emola of Bryan; sisters Jessica Emola of Bryan, Emily Emola of Bryan; nephews Grayson and Gunner Cass; aunt Christine and Mike Riley, uncles, Joseph Fritz, David & Mary Cass, cousins, Valerie Stephens, Devin Riley, Coy and Laramie Cass.
