Shirley Kazmir

Graveside services for Shirley Helen (Schoenberg) Kazmir, 80, of Lyons, is set for 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville, Texas, with Bro. Jason Lasher officiating. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m., before the service at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville. Mrs. Kazmir passed away October 12, 2020 in Caldwell, Texas.

Shirley was born February 24, 1940 to Frank Schoenberg and Helen Mae (Schoppe) Schoenberg in Lyons, Texas.

Shirley was a cosmetologist when she was younger. She enjoyed Elvis movies, music, Word Finds and planting flowers around her home.

Shirley is survived by her son Louis Kazmir of Caldwell; daughters, Donna Gage and husband Billy of Milano, Wendy Kazmir of Lyons; step daughter, Peggy Cross and husband Tommy of Campbell; sister, Janet Urbanovsky and husband Elwood of Manor; grandchildren, Samantha Flores and husband Joel, Jessica LaFountain and husband Michael; step grandsons, Michael and Russell Cross; great grandchildren, Arabella Flores, Dillon Haile, Cheyenne Gage, Michael LaFountain; step great grandchildren, Andi LaFountain, Anna LaFountain; nephews, Tim Urnabovsky, Chris Urbanovsky and many other relatives and family friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lawrence Kazmir.

Pallbearers will be Tim Urbanovsky, Chris Urbanovsky, Billy Gage, Louis Kazmir, Michael LaFountain, and Joel Flores.
