Thomas Warren, Jr.

Thomas warren, 72, of Somerville passed away peacefully, early Saturday morning, January 13, after a brave battle with cancer.

Tom Warren was born in Welborn, Florida, on September 16, 1945. His family moved to Texas when Tom was 5, and he has lived in Texas ever since. He married Elizabeth Warren in October 1980, and together, they raised two beautiful children, Robyn and James.

One of Tom’s greatest passions was his work in the oilfield business. He started out at age 16 and been in the business for 56 years. His work allowed him to travel all over the world, doing what he loved. He and his wife moved to Somerville 23 years ago, and they continued to enjoy the simple country life. Tom always looked forward to a great fishing day, and had many a good fishing story to tell. He would hunt whenever he could, with his son and his buddies. His family and friends would miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Nunely Warren, Sr., Janey Florence Gray and sister, Jeanie (Warren) Petit.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Elizabeth Warren, son, James R. Warren and wife Hazel; daughter, Robyn Warren and brother, Ronald F. Warren.
