Tim Tollefson

Timothy Lowell Tollefson

January 12, 1957 – November 12, 2021

Tim was born in Carbondale Illinois to Carol Fedde Tollefson and Dean Elwood Tollefson. He grew up in the Midwest, and graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School where he was a star on the football team. He went on to play football for Bethany College for one year.

Tim met Kathy Sublette in summer of 2003. They were married on August 7th, 2004 in Spring Texas were they lived and loved for the next 15 years before moving to Caldwell Texas in the spring of 2019. Tim accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was baptized at the Caldwell First United Methodist Church on March 8th, 2020.

Tim was a family man…a son, brother, husband, dad, and grandfather who unexpectedly left us on November 12th, 2021. Tim made his living driving big rigs. He was a lover of a good joke, a good football play and a good cigar. He was a friend and a defender of children….always ready for a visit from his grandchildren. Football coach, dog lover, grill master and humorist; able to recite a movie line appropriate to any situation.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Fedde Tollefson

He is survived by his wife Kathy J. Tollefson, his father Dean E. Tollefson, Step-Mother Brenda Mensink, Siblings Nancy (Randy Switser), Tod, Daniel (Linda), Eric, and Ingrid (Troy Cusey)Children Jakob Tollefson and wife Angie, Sara Chapman and husband Gene, Kelli Nichole Nelson, and step-son Jason Rhodes. His beloved grandchildren Eleanor, Aislyn, Russell, Raini Chapman, MaKiah, LeahLani, Quintin Nelson, Liam, Finn Tollefson, Wade Rhodes, Charlsie Adams, Hayden Rhodes and Lane Rhodes.

Tim will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews
