Vilma Drahem

Vilma Drahem, 88, formerly of Brazoria, TX, was born November 11, 1927, in Caldwell, TX to Alfred and Emma Zwernemann. She passed away on May 22, 2016, at Burleson St. Joseph Manor in Caldwell, TX.

A visitation will be held at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville, TX on May 28, 2016, at 8:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m., with the Reverend Nate Lawrence with Compassionate Care Hospice officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville, TX.

Mrs. Drahem is survived by her three children, Patricia Drahem of Richmond, Tx; Deborah Bohr and husband Terry of Angleton, TX; and Douglas Drahem and wife Regina of Richmond, TX; five grandchildren, Mark Bohr and wife Krista of Fort Worth, TX; Amber Bohr of Corpus Christi, TX; Kerri Bohr of Angleton, TX; and Trevor Drahem and Tyler Drahem of Richmond, TX; three sisters Viola Bartek of Caldwell, TX; Lorena Bland of Pearland, TX; and Esther Elliot of Somerville, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred Drahem, and two brothers, Ewald Zwernemann and Calvin Zwernemann.
