It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Vivian Doris Bertone, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She lived a full and meaningful life before peacefully passing away on June 19, 2024, in Caldwell, Texas.
She was born on December 20, 1929, in Crockett, Texas. Vivian dedicated an impressive 50 years of her life as cofounder of her husband’s business. Her work ethic and attention to detail were truly admirable, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her professionally. Outside of work, Vivian was known for the love for her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and always put their needs above her own. Her kindness and warmth created a loving and supportive home for them.
Vivian is survived by her daughter Dorothy Ann Bertone Miller and husband Kenneth K. Miller. She is also survived by her grandsons Steve Hebert Bertone of Mississippi and Samuel Wayne Bertone of San Antonio. Additionally, Vivian is survived by her nephews Tommie Wayne Johnson, Steve Anthony Bertone, Robert Drugovich, and nieces JoAnn Drugovich and Joy Lynn Wilson as well as other extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Dominic S. Bertone and son Dominic Samuel Bertone II.
The loss of Vivian will be deeply felt by all who knew her. A private graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Vivian Doris Bertone is scheduled. In memory of Vivian's life well-lived and the love she shared with those around her, may we find solace in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
