Wanda Goodwin

Wanda Marie Goodwin, 87, passed from this life, Wednesday, October 24, 2021 in Somerville, TX., with family by her side. A Graveside Service is planned for Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. @ Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville the interment will follow. The Visitation will be held Friday, morning from 9-9:30 a.m. @ Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville.

Wanda was born May 18, 1934 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to parents Birtie Verdell Edwards and Mary Lee (Phillips) Edwards.

She married Jack Goodwin in Yuma, Arizona August 6, 1945 to this union were blessed, four boys: Jackie, Clarence, Jim, and Coy and a daughter, Carol.

Mrs. Goodwin was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband Jack Goodwin.

Wanda is survived by her loving family, four sons and dau-in-laws, Jackie Goodwin, Clarence Goodwin and wife Dell all of Phoenix, AZ., Jim Goodwin of Ft. Worth, TX., and Coy Goodwin and wife Stephanie of Lyons, TX.,thirteen grandchildren: Bridgett Goodwin, Anjie Goodwin, Jewelya Emory, Kelsee Goodwin, Brett Flentage, Brittany Flentage, James Goodwin, Mark Goodwin, AndrewThorson, Clayton Goodwin, Jaxon Goodwin, Wade Goodwin and Lydia Goodwin, ten great grandchildren, Jared Goodwin, Heather Basnaw, Shane Basnaw, McKinley Sutton, Hayes Hughes, Gage Goodwin, Nathan Goodwin, Dax Emory, Robert Emory III, Torunn Emory, five great great grandchildren: Ava Goodwin, Hope Goodwin, Aiden Goodwin, Louis Martinez Jr., and Cataleya Martinez, and a sister, Ruth Williams and husband Granger of St. George, UT.,

Serving as pallbearers are: Jaxon Goodwin, Jared Goodwin, James Goodwin, Mark Goodwin, Brett Flentage and Lee Basnaw

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be given to Hospice Home Health.
